 open beta - phase one started

 |  |  |  | We are very happy to announce the official start of the Mankind open beta - phase one.
This first initial phase does invite all players of Mankind, who had an account at the payed live universe before 18th of june 2009, who will find a beta account already present like on live universe.
If you are one of those, welcome very much to Mankind open beta!
First of all, please read the download and install instructions at the official beta forum. If you do not have any forum account yet you need to register one.
Next please download the beta client as explained and follow the installation instructions carefully.
Finally, please start your adventure at Bilea Bewi and meet other testers. All research times and build times + cost got drastically reduced to make testing more easy. Further, if you do not have any settlers left to build, feel free to visit planet 7 on Bilea Bewi (HT.Base) to get some for 1 Credit.

| | | | We are proud to finally announce the upcoming open beta test for the next major game update of Mankind. If all goes fine, we will start the beta this weekend. Details on how to join will follow once beta got opened so stay tuned for this really exciting final test before release, at which everybody can take part.
As a side effect, the trial universe will not be available during the open beta test aswell as the trial registration and account management webpage. Please accept our apology for this required downtime.
Finally, we did add a few screenshots from current testing to the "In Development" webpage of mankind.net. Check them out! ...but please always remember that those units and their stats are still subject to be changed until final release.

hardware upgrade finished, all servers restarted

| | | | The sheduled server maintenance went through without any problems, several hardware got upgraded successfully. Several regions should load significant faster now and battles should generate less server lag on those areas.
After the maintenance all servers got restarted and are back online. | | | | | | |
