O2OE collects information in several ways on its web site. Several personal informations are stocked when you register. Your email address and your country. Once registered, you are given a Mankind® account and are able to take full advantage of the O2OE' many offerings. O2OE may ask you for personal information at other times, when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by O2OE and/or one of its many partners. If you contact O2OE, we may keep a record of that correspondence. O2OE also may ask you to complete surveys used for internal research purposes but there is no obligation. Wherever personal information is collected, O2OE includes a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

Offering customizable and personalized services, O2OE uses cookies to store and track information about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Generally, we use cookies to :
1- remind us of who you are and access your account information (stored on our computers) in order to deliver you a better and more personalized service. This cookie is set when you register or log on to a service and is modified when you log off from our services.
2- estimate our audience size. Each browser accessing to O2OE is given a unique cookie to determine the rate of use of our services.

O2OE primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a customized access to our site. This includes customizable services fitting your needs, interactive communication tools, online shopping.

When you are on the Mankind® site and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with O2OE alone, unless it is specifically stated otherwise. If data is being collected and/or maintained by any company other than O2OE, you will be notified prior to the time of the data collection or transfer. If you do not want your data to be shared, you can choose not to allow the transfer by not using that particular service.

As a general rule, O2OE will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission. We hereafter have listed some of the ways that your information may be disclosed. Business Partners and Sponsors : O2OE may disclose your personal information to business partners or sponsors, but this is specifically described to you prior to data collection or prior to transferring the data, especially through the Terms of Service. If personally identifying data about you will be shared, we will tell you before we collect or transfer the data. Merchants offering banner adds on our site have separate privacy and data collection practices. O2OE has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies. Other cases : O2OE may also disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating (either intentionally or unintentionally) O2OE' rights or property, other users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. O2OE may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it (especially further to a complaint).

If you indicated upon registration that you are interested in receiving offers or information from O2OE and our partners, we may occasionally send you direct email about products and services that we feel may be of interest to you. Only O2OE (or agents working on behalf of O2OE and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings and only if you indicated that you do not object to these offers. If you do not want to receive such mailings, simply tell us when you give us your personal information. Or, at any time you can easily edit Mankind® account to no longer receive such offers and mailings. You will need your Mankind's ID and Password in order to access your personal account.
O2OE does not sell or rent user information to anyone. We will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer if your data will be shared with a third party and you will always have the option of not permitting the transfer. If you do not wish to allow your data to be shared, you can choose not to use a particular service.

6. What is O2OE policy on allowing me to update, correct, or delete my personal identifiable informations ?... back to top

You may update your Mankind® account at any time by using your Mankind® ID and Password.
You can access, amend and raise an objection to these data. O2OE will store the resulting database at the CNIL.

7. What happens with my credit card number if I buy the game online ?... back to top

You enter your credit card number when you buy the game Mankind® online. Each time we ask you for a credit card number, we transfer it in an encrypted format to the bank. We are currently using an SSL encryption (secure socket layer) conforming to the industry standards of your country. We never keep your credit card information afterwards.

8. What are the security precautions to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of my information ?... back to top

Your Mankind® account and profile are password-protected so that you and only you can access this personal informations. You may edit your account by using your ID and password.
We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. O2OE will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, O2OE cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.

You must keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online (in forums, through email or in discussion groups, for example), information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. We thank you to be careful and responsible whenever you're online.

The Member agrees and accepts that O2OE does not check nor control the messages that are sent to the Discussion Forums. O2OE will not be responsible for this inaction.
O2OE does not limit the number of messages sent to the Member's Discussion Forums.
The Discussion Forums are under control of their managers who is responsible for the all the messages sent to it.

11. About the download and the banner ads…... back to top

O2OE reserves the right to delete each site whose purpose would be to offer downloads or with a generally huge hits/number of pages or network transfer/call number ratio. If necessary, O2OE will inform the Member by email of the decision made for his Personal Site. Each ad, promotion, sponsoring message, paying the Member whatever the means, is forbidden within the Services. Only O2OE has the right to insert ad, promotion and/or sponsoring messages in all the pages of the Personal Sites, in the Chat or through the Email service.
